As well as a very enjoyable lunch entertainment was provided by the resident comedian Balthazar the donkey.

Both groups enjoyed some of the best scenic views from the quiet roads through the hills of the Algarve on the way to Alte.

The lead riders on this occasion were Peter Kenyon from the east assisted by Huw Chivers and David Shirley and Yves Breyer from the west with assistance provided by Steve Gallagher and Dave Loewy.
