The day with the highest attendance at the venue was, 4 August, with 28,031 entries recorded, many of which came to watch the concert by Delfins, on a national tour to celebrate 40 years of success.

During the six days of the Algarve's main gastronomic event, 2,210 kilos of sardines were consumed, prepared by the five local associations that took part in the Festival.


In a statement, the Municipality stresses that these figures do not include the many thousands of people who visited the participating restaurants and the various entertainment venues spread throughout the riverside area of ​​Portimão.

The Sardine Festival returns in 2025, from 5 to 10 August.
