Pepe, born in Brazil, but a Portuguese international, has won more than 30 titles in his entire career, including a European Championship with the national team, in 2016, and three Champions Leagues, all with Real Madrid.

The defender says goodbye to the Portuguese team with 141 games and 8 goals and is the third most-capped international player ever for the Portuguese team, just behind Cristiano Ronaldo (212) and João Moutinho (146).
An absolute star for two decades. If every goalkeeper had a Pepe lined up in front of him it'd be a pretty easy position to play. Skill, heart, ferocity.
Furthermore, he went out while still playing at a very high standard. While so many players stay too long, we won't remember Pepe's steep decline because there wasn't one.
Thanks for all the great memories, Sir.
