The Museum was closed for several months for renovation works to improve accessibility, namely the installation of ramps, new flooring, and an elevator.

Despite being closed, during the renovation, the Municipal Museum maintained its activity and initiatives outside its doors through its inventory and research teams, educational services, archaeology or conservation and restoration, celebrating important dates linked to heritage and museums, always with a significant public attendance.

On the 15th, the Museum will resume its normal operations, once again being able to display its collections, its national treasures, and some new features.

The reopening day will also allow visitors to see the new look of the space, as well as the new features and comfort conditions guaranteed by this intervention, which cost around half a million euros.

From the 15th, the Museum will reopen its doors, with new conditions of reception and comfort for its visitors, during the usual opening hours, from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 to 17:00, providing a diverse, innovative and trustworthy cultural and heritage offer.
