The subscription plan in question includes ads and will cost 5.99 per month, and the launch is scheduled for October 17.
This ad-supported subscription plan allows users to watch all Disney+ content in Full HD resolution on two screens simultaneously. However, this option does not allow users to download series or films for offline viewing.
"The launch of the ad-supported plan on Disney+ in Portugal is an important evolution of the service both for consumers, who will now have more options to access Disney+, and for advertisers, our partners, and for the advertising market as a whole", says the VP General Manager of The Walt Disney Company Portugal, Luís Fernambuco.
In addition to this ad-supported subscription - called Standard with Ads - those interested in subscribing to Disney+ will also have two more options. These are the Standard plan, which costs €9.99 per month and €99.90 per year, and the Premium plan, which costs €13.99 per month and €139.90 per year.
In the case of the Standard plan, users can watch any series, film or documentary without any interruption in Full HD resolution and on two screens simultaneously. However, the Standard plan provides the possibility of downloading series and films for offline viewing on up to ten devices.
The Premium plan is practically identical to the Standard plan, except for the more advanced 4K resolution with HDR and the ability to watch Disney+ on four screens simultaneously.
Like the Standard plan with Ads, the Standard and Premium plans will be available on October 17th.
