In the month under review, overnight stays by non-residents slowed for the second consecutive month, with a growth of 4.2%, to a total of 6.3 million.
The British market remained the main issuing market (18.3% share), with a growth of 1.3% in July, followed by Spain (12% share), which grew by 6.1%.

I believe it would be benefitial for the tourism sector in Portugal to have Americans as 1st market and Canadians in the top 5. More attention needs to be paid to those markets.

If you want more Americans coming here, there has to be a direct flight from Atlanta.
Not just TAP.
It is a long flight, most Americans ( I am from the US) will go where they can fly direct.
