Following in the footsteps of George Clooney and Sharon Stone, Paris Hilton has joined the ranks of celebrities who have fallen in love with Comporta. According to reports, the socialite has bought a house in the luxury Costa Terra Golf & Ocean Club development, in Melides, on the Alentejo coast.

The information was revealed by presenter Maya, on the CMTV programme “Noite das Estrelas”, and confirmed by presenter Ricardo Azedo. “It’s true, there is another celebrity from the United States who has come to Comporta, namely to Costa Terra, and bought a house”.

“Paris didn’t buy it directly, as far as we know, so she wasn’t in Comporta to see the house in person. The project was presented to her, the house has already been purchased and she is yet another person who has arrived to fill Comporta with glamour”, the presenter also said during the programme, during which he announced that the Hilton group is preparing to open a new development in the same location.

This 200-hectare development is owned by the North American company Discovery Land Company and the minimum price for a plot is currently 3.4 million euros. The project envisages the construction of 292 residences and also a golf course designed by Tom Fazio. The architect has already designed more than 200 greens in the United States and 46 of them are considered the best in the country, according to Golf Digest.

The common areas of the estate will be designed by Alexandra Champalimaud, an interior designer from Portugal who lives in New York. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for the decoration of several spaces such as the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles, The Pierre and the Carlyle, both in New York.
