Dariusz Marzec, CEO of PGE, described the plant as “one of the most modern in Europe”, emphasising its role in strengthening Poland’s energy security and ensuring stable power for over 3 million households.
Located in the West Pomerania province in northwest Poland, the PGE Gryfino Dolna Odra power station cost an estimated €856 million to develop, and consists of two gas-steam units, each with a gross capacity of 863mW.
