With the establishment of a new easyJet base in Milan Linate, from March 30th there will be another connection between Lisbon airport and an Italian airport. Linate airport is the closest to the city of Milan, located just 8 kilometres from the city, which means a significant improvement in the offer for passengers traveling on business and the complementarity of the current offer at Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP). Flights between these two airports will take place every day of the week, with the exception of Saturday. easyJet will therefore, next summer, have up to 4 daily flights between Lisbon and Milan.

The connection between Bordeaux and Faro is scheduled for the months of July and August, starting on June 29th, with a weekly flight on Sundays.

For the summer of 2025, easyJet has already announced several new routes that connect Portuguese airports to various destinations. After the entry of easyJet in Cape Verde, with the start of flights between Lisbon and Porto to the island of Sal in October, the continuity of operations during this spring/summer of 2025, from both Portuguese cities, has already been confirmed, with flights now available for booking. These were the first routes to sub-Saharan Africa in the company's history.

More seats

More seats are also available this summer for flights from Portuguese airports. In the specific case of Porto airport, in addition to the new route to the island of Sal, a place that will have easyJet flights for the first time during the summer, additional connections are available to destinations such as Porto Santo, Funchal, Zurich, Nantes, Paris Orly and Sicily Palermo.

From April 1st, easyJet will make it possible to connect, non-stop, between the Algarve and Switzerland, through Faro and Zurich airports, with flight frequencies twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. And from June 2nd, easyJet will offer new direct connections between the United Kingdom and Madeira, connecting Luton to Funchal twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

José Lopes, General Director of easyJet Portugal, says: “It is with great excitement that we announce these two new summer routes, reinforcing our commitment to providing more affordable and convenient travel options for our passengers. In recent months, we have already introduced a total of 9 new routes to Portugal in 2025, which demonstrates our continued growth and confidence in the market. And we continue to continually reinforce the seats we have available for sale this summer in order to provide our passengers with the most varied solutions for their trips.”
