The export total for the year was 32.1 billion cubic metres, up from around 28.15 billion cubic metres in 2023, according to TASS estimates based on data from gas giant Gazprom and the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas.
The route mostly driving this growth was the TurkStream pipeline, which reported an increase in throughput of 23% in 2024.
I guess Europe's "principles" are set aside in cold weather. By the way, I thought windmills and solar panels were delivering 200% of Europe's power and heating needs by now and at such unbelievably low prices (after all, the sun and the wind are free) that electric meters aren't required any longer.
