In a statement, the Lisbon Territorial Command of GNR explains that the police operation was the result of a noise report, with the police moving “immediately to the location”, a forest area in the town of Alcabideche.
“In the course of the police investigations, it was possible to identify 97 people who were breaking the general duty to stay at home”, it is mentioned in the note.
As part of this operation, the authorities also issued two administrative offenses under the general noise regulation and three for the consumption of narcotic drugs.
GNR also seized 13 doses of hashish, a DJ controller, three speakers, a tripod, a generator, a laptop and headphones.
The Public Order Intervention Group (GIOP) of the Intervention Unit (UI) also participated in the operation.
