The situation is said to have been caused by the several flights touching down within short intervals of one another at Humberto Delgado. Queues then grew as officials carried out checks on confirmed additional documentation. These included valid Covid PCR tests and a travel form that many passengers had failed to fill in before arriving at passport counters as is required under current state of emergency rules.

We , 2 passengers also were not alloweed to board franfurt flight as covid test report did not have time stamp. In spite of several request the nurse at Viana do cadtelo insisted it is not required and in std format. The boarding officials did bot budge at all even if we had 48 hrs valid covid report. We missed our connecting flight to India as well.
