JOM is a 100 percent Portuguese company which was founded more than 20 years ago by businessman Joaquim de Oliveira Mendes, whose initials inspired the businesses name.

The furniture shop with the slogan “tudo para o seu lar” which translates to “everything for your home” is exactly that, and most importantly is located on Rua da Abicada in Portimão, open every day from 10am to 8pm with ample indoor and outdoor parking.

When asked about the brands message, marketing director for JOM, Clávio Cristo said: “The message we want to convey to the Portimonese and to all Algarvians is that JOM Portimão has solutions for all your home needs with an excellent team that accompanies you and provides a unique and complete experience each time you visit.”

Further explaining that they chose the Algarve because “it is a strategic region and the Algarve did not have a distribution and logistics network capable of efficiently meeting demand in this area of the country but now, we have that.”

In terms of what you can find at the store, Clávio Cristo affirmed JOM Portimão “sells a wide variety of home products, which includes furniture, sofas, mattresses, electrical appliances, home decor, textiles and lighting.” Adding that “Our core business is the trade of furniture items and, in this sense, we count on JOM Indústria for its own exclusive manufacturing, which certainly differentiates us from the competition.”

The layout of the store is well designed, with all the products distributed on two floors and along a route that allows for a pleasant visit throughout the store. You can see that JOM offers a variety of solutions no matter what your taste is but at affordable prices.

JOM is dedicated to its clients and offers a personalised service, by offering home deliveries and with the additional option of the customer being able to pick up their order at the store warehouse.
