The measure aims to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions
from new cars to zero by 2035.
At the request of some countries, including Germany and
Italy, the EU has nevertheless agreed to consider giving the green light in the
future to alternative technologies, such as synthetic fuels or plug-in hybrids,
if they are able to achieve the objective of completely eliminating greenhouse
gas emissions from vehicles.
The date of 2035, although not yet official, is in line with
the one recommended by the European Parliament and the European Commission,
with whom countries will have to negotiate the final rules.
So we went from 'Let them eat cake' to 'Let them drive Tesla's'.
We all know what happened next. The ruling class is so out of touch, so arrogant, so tyrannical, so unreasonable, it's just a matter of time until peoples' revolts will start. It'll only take 1 country, and then will spread faster than the covid show.

How these virtue signaling idiots can agree this with a straight face is beyond me. Better start now installing hundreds of thousands of charge points, oh yes and better add 6 more power stations to run it all. Oh wait, the CO2 from the power stations emits more CO2 than the cars did….damn it. …..What a Joke World we live in.
