As part of ongoing 30th anniversary celebrations,
Pine Cliffs Resort invited renowned Portuguese Chefs and winemakers to join in
four very special gastronomic moments.
The Chef’s Table will take place at MIMO Algarve, providing
four unique experiences. Each dinner will feature a menu of eight moments
designed by the guest Chef. The dishes will be dedicated to the regional
gastronomy of the Algarve and paired with carefully selected wines.
The Chef’s Table will always take place on Thursdays and
will start on 21 July with a menu developed by Chef Rui Paula, accompanied by
Wine & Soul, with Jorge Serôdio Borges.
On 28 of July it is Chef Marlene Vieira's turn to shine in the kitchen of MIMO Algarve, together with Andrea and Sandra Tavares, with wines from Quinta da Chocapalha, followed on 4 August by Chef Óscar Geadas, paired with Ribeiro Santo wines, selected by Carlos Lucas.
The last Chef’s Table will be in charge of Chef Vítor Sobral
and will take place on August 11. This dinner will be paired with Esporão brand
wines, chosen by the winemaker José Luís Moreira da Silva.
Dálio Calado, F&B Director at Pine Cliffs Resort, says:
“This is an initiative that we have wanted to promote for some time, and this
year takes on a special meaning. Pine Cliffs Resort is 30 years old and we had
to mark the date in a remarkable way. That's why we challenged four of the best
Chefs we have in our country to help us celebrate together with our guests,
owners and external customers”.
These four Chef’s Tables are adults-only events open to just
50 participants. They start at 8pm and are available for €285 per person. This includes
wine pairing, a welcome drink on arrival and dinner with an 8 moment menu.
