In a statement released today, the Competition Authority
(AdC) has sanctioned seven security companies for participating in an “active
cartel in the provision of surveillance and security services in public
tenders”.
“The AdC concluded that the companies coordinated their
participation in public procurement procedures, dividing customers among
themselves and fixing the price levels of the services to be provided, from
2009 until, at least, 2020, or until 2018, in the case of Strong Charon”,
states the supervisor.
