According to the National Statistics Institute (INE): "The
final consumption expenditures of resident families showed a year-on-year
change of 4.2% in volume in the second quarter, after a change of 12.5% in
the previous quarter (19.1% in the second quarter of 2021)".
From April to June, resident households' final consumption
expenditure on non-durable goods and services decelerated to a year-on-year
rate of change of 4.2%, “partly reflecting a base effect, given that in the first
quarter of 2021 there were several measures are in force to combat the pandemic
that conditioned economic activity”.
