According to Captain Celso Marques, the man lived alone and “acted calmly”, as quotes the Lusa News Agency. More than one piece of land was used for the production of plants, without a greenhouse.
In addition to the seizure of around 2,600 cannabis plants, after a search of the detainee's residence, the GNR soldiers also seized three shotguns, a gun and pistol, three knifes, a dagger and a weighing scale.
When the man was caught red handed, the case was referred to the Judicial Court of Sertã to pursue the investigation.
So it's ok for big pharma to grow all the cannabis they want, but not the little fish trying to survive ????
