Interior Minister Matteo
Piantedosi has expressed his regret regarding the migrant ship spat
between France and Italy.

The incident involved a
charity ship that was turned away by Italy and eventually docked in southern
France with 230 people on board. The minister said the vessel
"autonomously" decided to head towards the French coast, after
spending days off the island of Sicily.
