The warnings in the districts of Beja, Lisbon, Leiria, Faro and Setúbal will be active between 21:00 today and until 06:00 on Sunday and refer to situations of persistent and sometimes strong precipitation and wind, with gusts of wind up to 75km/hour.
In the district of Évora, the yellow warning for precipitation and wind starts at 00:00 today and lasts until 06:00 on Sunday, forecasting heavy and persistent rain and gusts of wind in the order of 75 km/h.
The IPMA predicts for the districts of Santarém and Portalegre heavy and persistent rain, having triggered the yellow warning between 00:00 today and 06:00 on Sunday.
The districts of Vila Real, Viseu, Guarda and Castelo Branco, are under yellow warning between 21:00 today and 06:00 on Sunday, due to the forecast of snowfall above 1,100 meters, with accumulation above 1,200 meters, which may be up to 5cm.
The Madeira archipelago – North and South Coasts, Mountainous Regions and Porto Santo – is also under yellow warning, between 3:00 pm today and 3:00 am on Sunday, due to the forecast of showers, sometimes heavy and accompanied of thunderstorm.
The North and South Coast are also under warning due to the expected sea turmoil, with the warning in effect between 06:00 and 18:00 on Sunday.
