In a statement sent to the press, Transavia explains that it decided to maintain its free hand luggage policy to “guarantee simplicity, comfort and transparency” to its passengers.

After the pandemic, we decided to keep hand luggage free for the benefit of simplicity and transparency for our customers. This gives us a competitive advantage, but also allows our customers to simply relax and enjoy their flights”, says Nicolas Hénin, Chief Commercial Officer of Transavia France.
