The event took place on Friday, 31st of March at One Green Way in Quinta do Lago, where the event was powered by The Agency Portugal, Green Jacket Properties and SPX Capital. With One Green Way sharing “It has been a delightful opportunity to get together with part of our growing community and toast to what is yet to come.”
Quinta do Lago has long set the unrivalled standard of residential resort living, and “One Green Way is the crowning achievement that completes its development plan. Curving alongside Quinta do Lago’s North Course, One Green Way is a gated community offering superior privacy and exclusivity in the resort — not only are its residents invited to enjoy Quinta do Lago’s many facilities, but at One Green Way they will find prime amenities and state-of-the-art leisure and sports equipment, such as a wonderful gym, padel courts, reception, kids’ playground and communal swimming-pool.”
With the ethos of putting the community first, João Fonseca, Chief Marketing Officer of Green Jacket Partners, developer of One Green Way told The Portugal News: “Many people have asked why I have chosen The Agency but it was the other way round, they actually chose us and I think it was the perfect match.”
Super prime product
In which he added, “We have a super prime product in Portugal and they are the best at what they do so we were very honoured to have their request to market our product. If you get the right product to the right set of buyers, you will be successful. It is more on our side to say thank you to Mauricio and The Agency for supporting us than the other way round.”
Mauricio Umansky then went on to tell The Portugal News that “From our perspective, we had heard about One Green Way and we are a luxury brand and for us it is very important to not only partner with luxury brands but honestly, this is a brand that has taken luxury above and beyond.”
Enthusiastically adding that “From absolutely all the planning, the lifestyles, the amenities, the sports courts, the golf courses, the sports centre, the bike paths and the ocean. Everything is just amazing; we were very excited to join forces with them and to be able to bring One Green Way on a global scale and we could not be more excited. Rome was not built in Seven days so we are going to make this thing do really good.”
Understanding luxury
Mauricio also revealed that “We pick our partners, based on people so for us it is very important to partner with the right people, people that understand luxury and the ability to sell lifestyle and they want to make a change and a difference in life.”
We also follow the money, we follow where our clients are moving to and certainly from the US, we are seeing a lot of movement to Portugal so we wanted to make sure we had the ability to advise and consult our clients in the proper fashion which is why we opened The Agency Portugal, but for us it is people first and the market second.
Mauricio then spoke highly of his visit, “Portugal has been amazing and I have had such a good time. It is my first time in Portugal and I was not sure what to expect. I have heard so many great stories about it, usually when you hear great stories, you are disappointed and this time I can tell you that I have heard great stories and I am not disappointed.”
“I am actually surprised and ecstatic about what I have seen, from the quality of life, the quality of people has been amazing and I could not be happier, so I am really looking forward to spending time in Quinta and checking out One Green Way and even getting a tour. So far what I have seen has been incredible and I may end up with a house out here, you never know.”
Later, Mauricio thanked the crowd for the hospitality he has been shown and said “I have travelled all over the world and I have seen some of the world’s most amazing real estate and I can tell you, in such a short time, you literally live in such a beautiful place and you have a very special place on Earth.”
Further revealing “I hope one day we can do Buying Quinta on Netflix as that would be amazing.”
