"The ANSR has identified the dissemination of fraudulent emails sent on behalf of this Authority, which notify people of an administrative offense notice, indicating a link to access the document of the respective notice", reads the alert.

"This is 'phishing', an attempt to obtain information on behalf of an entity, so you should not access the link in those emails".

ANSR also adds that all the notifications, including speeding fines, are made by post.
