According to a report by Look magazine, the works have been going on at the “hospital-sized” property for the past three years and are expected to continue for at least another year.
The magazine reports that neighbours have said: “They’ve been building for three years. The house is so big it looks like a hospital.
“My street has been closed for months, my garden is full of dust. All because of Pharaoh Ronaldo’s “Pyramid””.

One is of course allowed to be as Ironic as one pleases and I quote, "Blame the estrangeiro for all our housing issues”…… However one wishes to approach the Housing theme or from which Economic, Financial, Political or Estrangeiros, it is still a very nasty, unstable, very stressful experience for millions all over our country.

If Ronaldo with his billions can't get a job completed, councils can't even refurbish a small market building in 3 years then what chance does an individual have of getting anything completed on time to a good standard?

Uh what? No such thing as Portuguese disease. Racist much?!

After having lived in 5 countries, let me tell you all that construction is complicated everywhere. Having said that, the Portuguese mindset is the worst I have ever encountered. Lazy, greedy and incompetent, is how I would describe it. The amount of bureaucratic garbage, the power drunken paper shufflers, the focus on minutia while ignoring the bigger picture, the time taken for tasks that in other countries are performed ten times quicker, the trying to squeeze every cent out of the 'dumb foreigner' (who has forgotten more than the squeezer will ever learn) and of course that notorious blame shifting. Nothing is ever the fault of the Portuguese.
This isn't racism. It's reality and truth. And truth is hate for those who hate the truth.

Agree with Hart, criticism of actual events does not equal racism! Also, if your most famous person is currently an overpaid, spoilt narcissist (really, a picture of him posing in his undies on a sofa!!) with an airport named after him, what more can I say?

Strange to have a photo of Ronaldo in his underpants, it wouldn't be my choice. Does Portugal News not think we'd read it without this clickbait? Or is it c*ckbait?!

Seriously what is this article for? Who cares about Cristiano Ronaldos mansion, give us real news! Look at the comments. Are you becoming Correio da Manhã that just focuses on Cristianos Ego and also advertises prostitutes on a daily basis? I would rather see adverts for prostitutes than to hear about poor little Cristiano Ronaldo and his poor little mansions that aren’t finished .
