The municipalities are Monchique, Portimão, Silves, Loulé, São Brás de Alportel, Tavira (Faro), Portalegre, Marvão, Castelo de Vide, Nisa, Gavião (Portalegre), Vila Velha de Ródão, Proença-a- Nova, Vila de Rei (Castelo Branco), Mação, Sardoal, Ferreira do Zêzere, Abrantes, Tomar, Vila Nova da Barquinha, Constância and Chamusca (Santarém).

The IPMA also placed more than 70 municipalities in Faro, Beja, Santarém, Portalegre, Castelo Branco, Portalegre, Leiria, Coimbra, Viseu, Guarda, Vila Real and Bragança at very high risk.

Other municipalities in all districts on the mainland are now at high risk of fire.

The IPMA predicts for today cloudy or clear skies, with a slight drop in maximum temperatures.

The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 14 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 20 (in Castelo Branco and Faro) and the maximum between 23 (in Aveiro) and 35 (in Évora).
