"Luís Castro is the coach of the club's first football team, with a contract that runs until 2025. We wish him and his team success", said Al Nassr on Twitter.
The 61-year-old coach will meet at Al Nassr the Portuguese international striker Cristiano Ronaldo, 38 years old, who, in January, headed to Saudi Arabia to be the main 'figure' of the team.

Castro, who replaces Croatian Dinko Jelicic, who had already temporarily taken over after the departure of Frenchman Rudi Garcia, is the fifth Portuguese coach in the Saudi League, joining Nuno Espírito Santo (Al Ittihad), Pedro Emanuel ( Al Khaleej), Jorge Jesus (Al Hilal) and Filipe Gouveia (Al Hazm).
