Raj Indian Restaurant is tucked away at the back of the Holiday Inn.

We had the pleasure of dining at Raj Indian Restaurant in Armação de Pêra last weekend, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for our evening.

The restaurant itself has a charming décor, with tasteful Indian-inspired artwork adorning the walls and soft lighting creating an intimate atmosphere. The seating arrangement was comfortable and the tables were neatly set, giving a sense of attention to detail.

Raj Indian Restaurant's menu offers a wide variety of traditional Indian dishes and I was impressed with the extensive choice. From classic curries to tandoori specialities, and 6 vegetarian/vegan dishes; there was something for everyone.

I started my meal with the vegetable samosas and they were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a flavourful and well-spiced filling.

As main courses, we had the Palak Paneer, the Cogumelos Bajhi and the Gobi Alu. We shared the dishes to enjoy the various flavours.

Each dish was expertly prepared and the flavours were balanced and authentic.

The service at Raj Indian Restaurant was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than willing to give recommendations and answer any questions I had. The food was served quickly and the presentation was impeccable.

In terms of value for money, Raj Indian Restaurant offers a very attractive price for the quality of food and service.

The main courses cost just 12.50, and that in an upmarket restaurant like this.

Moreover, the portions were generous, so you leave satisfied without feeling overwhelmed.

All in all, my experience at Raj Indian Restaurant in Algarve was fantastic. It is a hidden gem for Indian cuisine in the area and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable dining experience.

Whether you are a fan of Indian food or looking for new flavours, Raj Indian Restaurant is a must-visit destination. I will definitely return to sample more of their delectable dishes in the future.
