The IPMA also placed more than 50 municipalities in Faro, Beja, Santarém, Portalegre, Castelo Branco, Portalegre, Leiria, Porto, Coimbra, Viseu, Guarda, Vila Real, Braga and Bragança at very high risk.

Other municipalities in all districts on the mainland are now at high danger of fire.

Due to the hot weather, the fire danger will remain high until at least Tuesday.

Today minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 14 (in Guarda, Viseu, Porto, Braga and Bragança) and 21 (in Faro) and the maximum between 23 (in Porto) and 33 (in Castelo Branco).
