In a statement, the company specialised in defending the rights of air passengers states that, of the almost 10 million passengers who departed from one of the Portuguese airports, only 62% departed at the indicated time.

"Analyzing the number of passengers who flew from Portugal, 2023 saw an increase compared to those recorded in 2022 and 2019, plus 800 thousand and 728 thousand, respectively. However, with regard to the disruptions felt by passengers on their flights, there is room to improve, since, this year, 38% were impacted when in 2019, this value was 36% (38% in 2022)", details AirHelp.
