Last year’s winners, Floresta Foresters got off to a great start winning all points away to Balaia, starting the season in top position. Closely followed by Floresta Rangers who put in a good performance against Pedras Pumas at home in Floresta Aldeia Azul.


Alvor Leopards and Alvor Lynx both played at home against Pedras Panthers and Valverde Veterans respectively and both Alvor teams came away with 4 points. While Valverde Vipers took 10 points from the third Alvor team, the Lions, at home to Valverde. The format adopted last year of two blocks of nine ends, as against a straight eighteen ends game remains for this season.
