The customer will also be able to compare options by price, vehicle size and reviews from other users.

Hundreds of vehicles will be available from car rental companies including Hertz, Avis and Budget.

As a way to celebrate this launch, users will be entitled to a 10 euro credit offered by Uber for trips to rental car collection points on the first three trips after booking a vehicle through the app.
