In the early elections for the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, held on 4 February, the PSD/CDS-PP/PPM coalition elected 26 of the 57 deputies, remaining three short of an absolute majority, while the PS obtained 23 mandates.

Chega managed to elect five deputies, and the Left Bloc, the Liberal Initiative and the PAN elected one deputy each.
