Lisbon: Following a break in the weather on Friday, the rain is to return on Saturday in the capital with temperatures falling to highs of 17 degrees and lows of 12 degrees. Sunday is to be mainly dry with highs of 18 degrees and sunny spells. From Wednesday temperatures are to rise again to highs of 23 degrees.

The north: Dry weather on Friday is to give way to more rain on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 18 degrees with lows of 11 degrees. On Sunday some sunny spells are forecast but the rain is to continue until Wednesday when temperatures are to rise to average highs of 23 degrees with lows of 8 degrees.

The centre: Intermittent sunshine and showers are expected over the weekend with temperatures averaging highs of 20 degrees with lows of 11 degrees. The rain is to begin to clear again from Tuesday and by Wednesday the thermometers are to rise again up to highs of 24 degrees with little chance of rain.

The south: The milder and drier weather is to take a turn for the wetter over the weekend with showers forecast on Saturday and heavier rain on Sunday although it will be feeling warm with highs of 21 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. From Monday it is to be mainly dry and by Wednesday it will be feeling warmer still.

Madeira: There will be a chance of rain throughout the weekend however it is to be mainly sunny and warm with average highs of 21 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. The following week is to be dry and mild with temperatures rising to highs of 26 degrees.

The Azores: The wet weather is set to continue however there will be some prolonged sunny spells on Saturday before the clouds gather further on Sunday when temperatures are to peak at 18 degrees. A mixture of sunshine and showers is expected for the following week.
