The proceedings were initiated following complaints and complaints filed both by consumers in the complaints book and by other economic agents.
In the supermarket sector, 35 administrative offenses were filed due to misleading advertising, in particular promotions not carried out at the advertised price.
The Consumer Directorate-General also applied two precautionary measures that determined the immediate suspension of two advertising campaigns.
No wonder shops make fake sales as there is no punishment. The fines are laughable.
