These works have a value of 3.7 million euros, and are carried out with funds from the PRR and "do not count on financing from the World Monuments Fund Portugal", reads the clarification note from the Ministry of Culture, released following the news on the completion of restoration work on the Jerónimos Monastery, with funding of 1.8 million from the World Monuments Fund, published by Lusa agency.

The works financed by the World Monuments Fund Portugal Association (WMF-P) took place between 1994 and 2002, in addition to collaboration between this Association and the extinct Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage, between 2014 and 2019.
