Lisbon: It will be feeling slightly cooler in the capital with clear skies and highs averaging 29 degrees over the weekend. From Monday some light cloud cover is expected and temperatures are to fall to average highs of 28 degrees. The weather is to remain stable until Thursday when there will be a chance of rain.
The north: The hot weather is to continue over the weekend in the north with clear skies and thermometers reaching highs of 32 degrees. From Monday some intermittent cloud cover is forecast but it will still be hot with average daily highs of 31 degrees and dropping to average nightly lows of 5 degrees.
The centre: Highs of 34 degrees are expected on Saturday, with tropical nights seeing thermometers only falling to 20 degrees. The hot weather and clear skies are to continue on Sunday with highs of 33 degrees. Temperatures are to begin to fall slightly from Monday when some cloud cover is expected.
The south: It will be feeling slightly fresher over the weekend following highs of 38 degrees in some areas of the south on Friday. The clear skies are to continue with average highs of 28 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. Some light clouds are to return on Monday but it will still be feeling hot with highs of 28 degrees.
Madeira: A mild weekend with a mixture of sunny spells and cloudy periods is forecast, with daily highs of 25 degrees and nightly lows of 18 degrees. From Tuesday there will be a slight chance of rain each day.
The Azores: A mixture of sunshine and showers is forecast throughout the weekend in the Azores with temperatures peaking at 21 degrees and falling to nightly lows of 16 degrees. The weather outlook for the following week remains the same as the weekend.
