At the event, 5,300 kilos of seafood were consumed, including more than 1,000 kilos of barnacles.
Among the delicacies, visitors tasted, in addition to barnacles, “other equally tempting snacks such as mussels, navalheiras, fried cuttlefish, mussel porridge, fried moray eel among others”, says the Vila do Bispo City Council.
During these three days of celebration, in addition to snacks, the Festival also featured entertainment from Al-Fanfare, a space dedicated to children, and an exhibitor area.
