Financial Servicing Company SIBS shares that the average ticket purchase over the two weekends of the event was €11, with festival-goers spending an average of €32 per card over the days of the festival, shares Marketeer.
The vast majority of transactions carried out (92%) were carried out with Portuguese cards, with 8% corresponding to transactions made by festival-goers with foreign cards. In terms of international presence, Spain is the country with the most transactions during the festival days (17%), followed by Brazil (15%) and the United Kingdom (13%).
This collaboration's main objective was to offer festival-goers an innovative and sustainable experience, with digital payment methods, namely through the MB Way eco option, which was used in 18% of total transactions carried out via MB Way. With this functionality, it was possible to save 1,800 meters of paper, equivalent to a saving of 4kg of CO2.
