Circulation on the descending lane of the IC17, between the Miraflores Junction and the roundabout next to Avenida Brasília, will be interrupted between 11:30 pm and 5:00 am.

In a statement, the PSP reported that it had set up a security operation for the festival, which takes place on Passeio Marítimo de Algés, in the municipality of Oeiras, with restrictions on vehicle circulation with interruption of traffic on the descending road of the IC17.

According to the authorities, there will also be restrictions on road traffic, from 3:00 pm, on the four days of the festival, on Avenida Brasília, Avenida Marginal between Algés and Alto da Boa Viagem, CRIL/IC17 viaduct (Algés) and Praça D . Manuel I.

According to the PSP, “as around 55 thousand people are expected per day”, the festival has a security device focused on “prevention and proactivity”, using various services: police officers from the integrated proximity policing model, traffic teams, crime prevention brigades, public transport security division patrols, and rapid intervention team.

People control measures will also be implemented at entry points to the festival grounds, the statement said.

The PSP advises festival-goers to travel to the event in advance, “taking into account the high number of people and the security procedures for accessing the venue”, as well as to prioritise the use of public transport.

If you use your own vehicle and park on a public street, the authorities ask that it be checked that the vehicle is closed, with no valuables in sight, and in a way that allows road circulation.
