The venue opens at 3:00 pm and in this edition, the performances are once again divided between seven stages, including a bandstand, dedicated to Portuguese music, and a stage where only comedians will perform.

Today's highlight goes to Arcade Fire and The Smashing Pumpkins, who will perform on the main stage, where Benjamin Clementine and Nothing But Thieves will also perform.

Jessie Ware, Parcels, Black Pumas, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Bateu Matou, Conjunto Corona, João Não & Lil Noon, Inês Só, and Maria Emília are among the artists and bands that will provide music for the thousands of expected spectators.

Between today and Saturday, there will be “more than a hundred performances” at the festival, which “doesn’t just live off the headliners”.

“All artists are main artists”, highlighted promoter Álvaro Covões, from Everything is New, on a visit to the venue on Wednesday, advising the public to “look closely at the program and make your itinerary, so as not to miss what do you want to see".

The PSP, in a statement released on Tuesday, advises festival-goers to travel to the event in advance, “taking into account the high number of people and the security procedures for access to the venue”, as well as to prioritize the use of public transport.

The organization also calls for the use of public transport, having set up “an integrated operation with several partners” for this purpose.

According to Álvaro Covões, on the railway line that connects Lisbon to Cascais, which has a station in Algés, there will be an “extension of timetables and reinforcement of trains”.

The same will happen on Transtejo boat connections, between Lisbon and the South Bank of the Tagus.

Furthermore, in partnership with Carris, there will be buses running between Docapesca and three points in Lisbon: Estação do Oriente, Santa Apolónia and Marquês de Pombal.
