The alert for the incident was given at 8:45 pm last night, for a gas leak in a 12-storey residential building on Avenida Marechal Craveiro Lopes in Carcavelos, Cascais.

A source Voluntary Firefighters of Carcavelos S. Domingos de Rana told Lusa that 84 people were removed from the building and that the incident was resolved, with the gas being turned off before the inhabitants returned to their homes, with the company responsible for the supply now investigating the causes.

The same source highlighted that no injuries were reported.
