In a statement, the Lisbon Metropolitan Command says that as part of the event, scheduled for Saturday, there is a need for traffic cuts on Thursday and Friday, between 6am and midnight, in Cascais Bay and the Marina.

Promenade D. Luís I, Avenida Dom Carlos I, Alameda dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and Avenida Rei Humberto II de Itália will also be closed.

On the day of the race, between 8:30 am and 7 pm, traffic will be closed on Avenida Marginal, in both directions, between Praia da Torre/Oeiras and Algés.

Also on Saturday, road traffic will be cut off in Cascais Bay and the Marina, as well as Avenida 25 de Abril, from 9am to 8pm.

Even before, from 00:00, Avenida da República will be closed between the Hipódromo and the Cascavel Cultural Center and later, between 7:00 and 2:00 on Sunday, Rei Humberto avenues will be impassable II da Itália and da República and Estrada from Guincho to Cabo da Roca.

Still on the day of the race, from 10:30 to 16:00, there will be cuts in the Torre-Areia area on the streets of Torre, Vidoeiros, Pinheiros, Faias, Narcejas, Codernizes, Ivone Silva and Areia, while on the Estoril, from 8am to 5:30pm, Avenida D. Nuno Álvares Pereira (between Rotunda Condes de Barcelona and Avenida De Portugal), Avenida De Portugal and Rua Biarritz are affected.

In Carcavelos, from 8am to 6pm, Nacional 6-7 (Avenida Marginal) and Avenida Conde Riba d’Aves will be closed.

On Sunday, traffic will still be closed until 5pm in Cascais and Marina Bay and on Passeio D. Luís I, Avenida Dom Carlos I, Alameda dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and Avenida Rei Humberto II de Itália (between Centro Cultural Center of Cascais and the Marina).

The PSP recommends that people use public transport and that anyone who chooses to use a car must check whether they have left the vehicle in a way that allows for road circulation.
