According to the same publication, ANA has already selected the construction consortia that, in the coming days, will be called to present their best final offers. Competing for the investment, which exceeds 300 million euros, are consortiums from Portuguese and Spanish companies.

The work at Humberto Delgado airport in Lisbon includes the expansion of terminal 1, changes to the runway with the construction of multiple quick entrances and exits and the creation of a parking apron at the Figo Maduro Aerodrome, whose perimeter will become part of the ANA concession, through a compensation to be paid to the State. The works will increase the number of aircraft movements from 38 to 45 per hour, increasing the number of passengers to between 40 and 50 million.
