This initiative, which brought together the local community and visitors, resulted in the collection of an impressive 143.80 kg of beach waste, contributing to the preservation and enhancement of the region's stunning coastline.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 125 students from the Almancil School Group, aged 14 to 16, who joined forces with residents, visitors, and organization staff to clean the beaches of Vale do Lobo, Garrão Nascente, and Garrão Poente. Over the course of the morning, participants explored approximately 3 kilometers of coastline, collected waste, and gained valuable insights into the importance of protecting the environment.
The Vita Nativa Association played an important role in this initiative, providing guidance, sharing educational facts, and raising awareness about sustainable environmental practices.
In addition to cleaning the beaches, the action highlighted the priceless value of collaboration between public and private entities and the local community in safeguarding one of the Algarve's most beautiful natural ecosystems.
Vale do Lobo and Infralobo EM extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved for their dedication and enthusiasm during this important initiative, and reaffirm their ongoing commitment to sustainability, environmental care, and active community engagement for a greener, more sustainable future.
