Portugal’s national squad has today learned who it will be facing in the next World Cup. For its opening matches the Portuguese side will face Thailand, the Solomon Islands and Morocco in Group C of the World Cup, which will be played from September 12 to October 3, in Lithuania. Of the past five World Cups, Portugal performed best in 2000, when it finished third, and finished the last World Cup in 2016 in fourth.

What an awful piece of journalism !!!
This has nothing to do with "The World Cup " .
Since when has "The World Cup " got to have its finals in Lithuania ?
It maybe a World Cup of sorts but what kind is not even mentioned in this poorly written article. ????

You reported Portugal’s World Cup in Lithuania!!! Why when it’s not there.

Portugal finished in third in 2006 the World Cup, not 2016... We were champions that year against France in Euro 2016. The "Ugly Duck", as many referred to Éder, would be the hero of that glorious journey for the Portuguese people...
