The national champion Benfica and the national runner-up Sporting faced off, with the Lions emerging victorious due to their greater consistency, objectivity, and effectiveness as well as their reduced number of errors.

After defeating Benfica 3-1 in the all-Portuguese championship match of the trophy's second edition, FC Porto became victorious in the Iberian Women's Volleyball Cup in Las Palmas, Spain.

The Porto squad, who were crowned national champions, defeated the Portuguese Cup winners Benfica with scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, and 25-19 to win the historic trophy in the Las Palmas Insular Sports Centre.

Prior to the Portuguese final, the host club CV Gran Canaria defeated Menorca 3-1 in the match to determine third and fourth place. Their scores were 25-19, 23-25, 25-14, and 25-22.
