“Embraer has opened 100 vacancies to work at the Embraer Metálicas and Embraer Composites industrial units”, located in the Aeronautical Industrial Park of Évora, the company said.
According to the aeronautical construction company, these contracts “are intended to respond to the increase in the production capacity of the centers of excellence” located in the Alentejo city, whose operation “has a strategic importance for Embraer's current and future products”.
In addition, the company also aims to carry out “the natural replacement of vacancies” and fulfil the “commitment” to “support local economic development”.
“Portugal is the country where Embraer invests the most in industrial capacity, outside Brazil, and which strengthens the company's strategic presence in Europe,” the company noted.
Embraer's facilities in Évora “combine the most advanced technologies in the manufacture of metallic and composite aerostructures with a high level of digitalization and automation of production processes”, highlighted the president of Embraer Portugal, Antonio Carmesini.
For these 100 jobs, the starting base salary is €900 for skilled workers and €830 for unskilled professionals in the sector, who will have to undergo in-house training, the company said.
