According to the data, at the end of March, these are the levels for the following basins: Ave (40.5%), Mira (40.8%), Cávado (42.8%), Sado (49.9% ), Arade (51.8%), Douro (55.1%) and Tejo (56.9).
The Oeste (61.1%), Guadiana (75.5%) and Mondego (78.8%) basins had the highest levels of storage at the end of March.
Twelve of the 60 reservoirs monitored had, at the end of March, water availability above 80% of the total volume according to the SNIRH.
On the last day of March and compared to the previous month, there was an increase in the volume stored in six river basins and a decrease in six.
The March 2022 storages by watershed are lower than the March storage averages (1990/91 to 2020/21), except for the Mondego basin.
Each watershed may correspond to more than one reservoir.
