The reduction of the ISP on fuels will translate into an additional discount of 15.5 cents per litre of petrol and 14.2 cents on diesel.
The measure has been brought in by the government to mitigate the increase in fuel prices, with an effect similar to the decrease in the VAT rate on fuel from 23% to 13%.
Through this measure, “the tax burden on fuels will take into account this decrease in the ISP (and the corresponding effect in terms of VAT), translating into an additional tax discount of 14.2 cents per litre of diesel and 15.5 cents per litre of gasoline”.
