Lisbon: It will be feeling cooler this weekend in the capital with temperatures peaking at 27 degrees and intermittent cloud cover expected on both days. Thermometers are on the rise again from mid-week, when temperatures are to hit maximums of 30 degrees and minimums of 16 degrees with northerly winds.
The north: Rain is predicted over the weekend with moderate to heavy showers forecast and temperatures to reach highs of 24 degrees with lows of 13 degrees. From Monday the rain is to clear and hotter weather is set to return with temperatures reaching highs of 28 degrees as the week progresses.
The centre: Hazy sunshine and highs of 27 degrees are predicted on Saturday, while there will be a chance of rain on Sunday in the centre. Intermittent sunny spells are expected for the following week and temperatures are to rise steadily up to highs of 30 degrees by the middle of the week.
The south: The summer weather continues in the Algarve with temperatures peaking at 30 degrees and dropping to lows of 19 degrees at night. The sunny spells and intermittent cloud is to continue into the following week when temperatures are to fall slightly to highs of 28 degrees with northerly winds.
Madeira: Heavy cloud with some periods of sunshine is forecast over the weekend when temperatures are to reach highs of 25 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. From Monday the cloud is to become less frequent and temperatures are to fall slightly to highs of 23 degrees and lows of 18 degrees.
The Azores: Cloud cover is predicted for Saturday followed by intermittent sunny spells on Sunday and temperatures at highs of 22 degrees. From Monday more sunshine is expected daily and temperature are to remain steady at 22 degrees, with lows of 16 degrees.
